Member of Parliament for Stourbridge
Suzanne Webb grew up during the Winter of Discontent and witnessed first-hand an inept labour government whose greatest achievement was spiralling inflation, crippling strikes and a country paralysed by powerful trade unions.
In 2008 an incompetent Labour Government plunged the United Kingdom into a ferocious recession and Suzanne was determined more than ever that our great country should never again be at the mercy of a Labour Government.
Suzanne became involved in frontline politics when an equally incompetent Labour City Council’s reaction to a perceived housing crisis, in the middle of a climate emergency, was to plan to release Green Belt land to build 10,000 houses on Green Belt.
Outside of politics Suzanne has had a successful 25 year career in a world leading logistics company auditing large project investments. Suzanne has worked across the business markets of Europe and the Far East. She understands first hand the important role the United Kingdom plays in a global market.
